Thanks LaptopNerdI will have a go at installing the scanner on Sunday or Monday when I have more time. Hope it works. I am not technically minded at all so will probably take me days to sort out the settings again!I don't suppose you might know why I am getting coloured lines in the background on my scanned images. After a few tries, they seem to go away but periodically come back again. Although its an old scanner, I only use it once a month or so for an hour or 2 so I assume it is not worn out!
